Germany

Germany is the first European country I ever visited. I spent a whole month road-tripping, from top to bottom. I fell in love. The country has so much to offer; beer, cheese, beautiful landscapes, some of the best electronic music, automobiles, football, and a very long and rich history.

Hamburg

Berlin

Munich & Bavaria

It is also home to the famous Schloss Neuschwanstein, the castle that Walt Disney drew inspiration from upon building his own.

Black Forest

The Black Forest is a mountainous region in the South Western part of Germany, and are famous for their ham and chocolate cake. I would describe it as breathtaking and magical. When I first drove through it, there was this misty fog that lay across the trees such a manner that was so hauntingly beautiful, and only the very tops of the trees could be seen.

This region is home to the famous author Hermann Hesse, who hails from Calw (pronounced like "kaalf"). I stayed in the adorable little town for about five days. There were so many historic little places to explore and many of the houses looked like the were right out of a storybook.
